The Sleeping Cliffs

The Sleeping Cliffs is a solo instrumental studio project overflowing with fuzz drenched guitars, bombastic percussion, and vintage organs, alternately screaming and whispering melodies at each other. “Soulful, rhythmic, electro-rock” describes the backbone and musical intention behind the songs, but in truth the music draws from decades of wide ranging influences that include rock, indietronica, funk, soul, neo-psychedelia, jazz, post-rock, and alternative. Todd Glidewell is the multi-instrumentalist behind project, playing the guitars, bass, drums, percussion, and synths. Residing in the Appalachian wilds of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, The Sleeping Cliffs have released 2 full albums and 3 EPs since starting in 2022, with a new full length album releasing in 2026.
